The Sun Pours through the Blue Lotus is a longterm Transmedia Project containing an archival sound piece, documentary and narrative art short film re-mythologyzing the ancient Egyptian story of the almost extinct Blue Lotus Flower.

The Sun Pours Through The Blue Lotus is a 3 chapter poetic meditation on the journey of a woman and the Blue Lotus finding eachother through a series of encounters with its Wisdom Keepers, uncharted lands and present day community. Through the eyes of the flower, we explore themes of land regeneration, lost mythology, water and womanhood - signalling a new time in Egypt.
